This course is designed for those students who specialize in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It intends to provide ICT education and skills to the students. This course contains Computer Fundamentals, Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Application Packages and Programs in QBASIC. In the Computer Fundamentals the students will study computer system, memory units, I/O devices, computer network, communication system, internet, e-mail, IT policy, cyber laws, hardware, software, human ware and number system, etc. Similarly, in the practical part, the students will learn the skills to run operating system, word processing, spread sheet, database management system, presentation package, web page designing, QBASIC programming using internet and email, etc. Thus, this course will enable the students to gain the knowledge about information and communication in one hand, and to use the knowledge in practice on the other.
